Yashora is a mobile app that helps Indian parents track their child's growth, health, vaccinations, and daily development. We also offer AI-powered parenting guidance, medicine prescription reading, kids' audio stories, a community forum, and a marketplace for kids' items.

4. AI Features and Your Data
Nani Guide (AI Chat)
When you send a voice or text message to Nani Guide, your message is sent to Anthropic (Claude AI) and Sarvam AI (for Gujarati/Hindi voice). The conversation is stored in your account so you can refer back to it. Voice recordings are converted to text and not stored as audio.
Prescription Analysis
When you photograph or type a medicine prescription, the image or text is sent to Claude AI for analysis. The original photo is stored in your account. Prescription data is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Festival Photo Studio
Your child's photo is uploaded to our secure storage (Cloudflare R2) and processed by Leonardo.ai to generate a festive image. Your child's photo is:
- Never used to train AI models
- Never shared with anyone outside of this feature
- Deleted when you delete your account
Growth Insights
Your child's height, weight, and age data is sent to Claude AI to generate a personalised growth assessment. This is for general guidance only — not a medical diagnosis.
5. Subscriptions and Credits
Yashora uses a credit system for AI features. When you purchase a subscription or credit pack through Google Play or App Store:
- Payment is handled entirely by Google Play / App Store — we never see your card details
- RevenueCat manages subscription status and sends us a confirmation
- We store your subscription status and credit balance in your account
- Purchase history is kept for 7 years as required by Indian financial law

8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these situations:
- Service providers: Only the third parties listed above, and only the data they need to do their job
- Marketplace: Your name and phone are shared with the other party when you express interest in a listing (you confirm before it is sent)
- Legal obligation: If required by Indian courts or law enforcement
- Business transfer: If Yashora is acquired, your data moves under the same privacy protections

- All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- API keys and sensitive data use AES-256-GCM encryption
- Your password is managed by Firebase — we never store it
- Photos are stored in Cloudflare R2 with access controls

11. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Erase your data — delete your account in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account)
- Raise a grievance with us about how your data is handled

12. Push Notifications
We send notifications for vaccination reminders, planner alerts, new community replies, and marketplace activity. You can turn off any notification type in the app (Profile → Notification Preferences) or from your device settings.
13. Location
Location is only used for the Marketplace to show nearby listings. We never track your location in the background. You can deny location permission and still use all other features.
14. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of major changes via push notification or in-app message. The "Last updated" date above tells you when this policy was last changed.
